Realme Launches SLED Smart TV 55-Inch With ‘Bezel-Less’ Design and 100W Soundbar
Realme launches SLED Smart TV in Indian with a 55-inch size screen. The new smart TV regarded to be the world’s first SLED 4K TV that is made to bring a top-level cinematic experience. The Realme Smart SLED TV 55-inch exhibits a “Bezel-less, metal design” that has a thin bezel of 9.5mm.The TV comes with a SLED panel that has been developed by Realme along with the chief scientist of the SPD technology, John Rooymans. Apart from Smart SLED TV, the popular smartphone brand has launched its first soundbar for the Indian audience, the Realme 100W Soundbar. The latest product comes with a 40W subwoofer and includes 60W full-range speakers.

The price of the new Realme Smart SLED TV 55-inch in India has been fixed at Rs. 42,999, though the TV could be purchased at a special introductory price of Rs. 39,999 during its first sale. Customers will be able to pre-book the TV through Flipkart and official Realme.com beginning 12am on October 16. Besides that, the Realme 100W Soundbar will be available for purchase at Rs. 6,999 and will go on sale from October 6 on Amazon, Flipkart, and the Realme.com website.
Realme Smart SLED TV 55-inch specifications
The Realme Smart SLED TV 55-inch runs on Android 9 Pie and comes with a Cinematic Display that renders 4K Ultra HD resolution along with 1.7 billion colors. The advanced display panel carries a 94.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is also boasted to deliver an NTSC color gamut of up to 108 percent. Unlike a normal LED panel that uses a single white backlight that enters to the RGB filters, the SLED panel employs an SPD backlight with RGB LED lights at the rear. This allows the display to create higher color gamut, which is considered similar to what you’ll get on a QLED panel.
Besides a compelling display panel, Realme has given an original color tuning on the Smart SLED TV that works great with the preinstalled Chroma Boost Picture Engine to optimize color production. The TV also features seven different unique display modes, namely Standard, Game, Sport, Energy, Saving, Vivid, User, and Movie. The product has been TUV Rheinland certified for low blue light emission.
In its internal working, the Realme Smart Smart SLED TV 55-inch has a quad-core MediaTek SoC 1.2GHz Cortex-A55 CPU, conjoined with Mali-470 MP3 GPU and 16GB of onboard memory. The TV comes with Dolby Audio technology that includes a 24W quad stereo speaker system.
The new Realme Smart SLED TV 55-inch also supports Google Assistant. It is packed with various connectivity options including three HDMI ports, two USB ports, one AV out, one Ethernet port, and a headphone jack. As a part of wireless connectivity, it comes with Bluetooth v5.0 and Infrared along with dual-band Wi-Fi support. Moreover, it has a smart remote with dedicated buttons to access Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, and YouTube.
Realme 100W Soundbar specifications
The Realme 100W Soundbar has two 2.25-inch 15W full-range speakers and two mini 15W tweeters that mean a total output of 60W. There is also the 40W subwoofer that has a 50Hz to 24KHz low-pitched audio frequency enhancement.
