LG Wing to Release in India Today: Everything You Need to Know

LG Wing is all set to be launched in India on 28 October 2020 at a virtual event at 11:20 am. The dual-screen smartphone is the first product under the company’s Explorer Project which aims to introduce modern usability concepts to the industry. Considered as one of the most appealing designs of smartphones of 2020, the LG Wing hosts two displays – one of them is a swivel screen that can rotate clockwise up to 90 degrees. The LG Wing has recently been released globally and was made available for purchase in South Korea lately.

LG electronics have been rolling the LG Wing launch through its social media accounts. The price of the smartphone is expected to be close to what was set forth in the South Korean market recently. On its home country, the LG Wing is priced at KRW 1,098,900 (around Rs. 71,400) for the 128GB storage memory variant. The device is available in two colour options – Illusion Sky and Aurora Gray. LG Wing is a dual-SIM (nano) device that runs on Q OS based on Android 10. The phablet hosts a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,460 pixels) P-OLED Full Vision primary display. The secondary display is 3.9-inch, and it is a full-HD+ (1,080×1,240 pixels) G-OLED display. The latest LG Wing boasts an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC processor, along with 8GB of RAM. It is available in 128GB and 256GB base storage options. Using a MicroSD card, the memory in both the smartphones can be expanded up to 2TB.

For snappers and videos, the LG Wind comes equipped with a triple camera setup at the rear that includes 64-megapixel primary sensor with a wide f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/1.9 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 12-megapixel third sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens. The camera system is supported by a hexa-motion stabilizer and works with a preinstalled Gimbal Motion Camera feature. For self-portraits and video calling, the LG Wing has a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor on a pop-up module.
