Another relief package will be received before Diwali, Finance Minister will announce today!
Before Diwali, the country may get another stimulus package. According to sources, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman can announce another relief package of Rs 1.5 lakh crore today. According to sources, the Finance Minister will hold a press conference at 12.30 pm today regarding this package. Preparation of relief package from the government has been completed. According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman have finalized the package.
Focus on these sectors will remain in the relief package
According to sources, this new relief package will focus on three issues in particular. The first is how to increase employment. For this, the government can announce 10 percent subsidy through PF (Provident Fund). That is, the government will give 10 per cent of the PF to the new employees and the employer will contribute 10 per cent of the contribution. Government can introduce it in a new form under the Prime Minister Employment Promotion Scheme.
The second issue will focus on all the 26 sectors that were mentioned by the KV Kamath Committee. They can be provided with emergency credit. Apart from this, different relief provisions can also be made for different sectors.
Try to increase demand even earlier
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also announced LTC vouchers to government employees in view of the festive season, so that the demand in the system can be increased. Along with this, the Finance Minister also announced an interest-free loan of Rs 12,000 crore for 50 years to the states; this is expected to generate a total demand of Rs 28,000 crore.
