IISc’s research: Indian scientists have developed a non-perishable corona vaccine, preparing human trials
Scientists at the Indian Institute of Science have prepared a Covid-19 vaccine that will not have any effect of heat. Scientists claim that it is heat-tolerant and the temperature rise to 100 degrees Celsius will not affect the vaccine. It can be kept for one month at 37 ° C temperature.
Can be transported to remote area also
Scientists say this new vaccine will also be effective, especially in middle-income countries, where expensive cooling equipment is usually a big challenge to keep a vaccine. Therefore, it can also be transported to remote areas.
Vaccine formulated with spike protein
According to Published Research in the journal Biological Chemistry, a portion of the spike protein of the coronavirus has been used to prepare this vaccine. Immune response was much better when tested.
Now the preparations for the human trial are fast
Raghavan Varadarajan, the head of the vaccine preparation team, said that after getting the funding, preparations for clinical development for the vaccine have been accelerated. Now to understand the safety and side effects of the vaccine, its trial will be done on humans. The first batch of vaccine for trials on humans is under preparation phase.
