Aadhaar PVC cards: UIDAI launches new pocket friendly model with new security features, you can also get this done in Rs 50
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) introduced the Aadhaar card in a completely new form in October 2020. You can now get your Aadhaar number reprinted as Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) card. The new PVC Aadhaar card is shaped like an ATM or debit card and is very easy to keep in your purse or pocket.
Indian citizens can get their Aadhaar number reprinted on a PVC card with a normal fee of Rs 50. A registered mobile number is also no longer required to order a PVC Aadhaar card online. Rather, one member of the family can order a PVC Aadhaar card for all the members of his family from the same mobile number. Users can also place orders for PVC Aadhaar cards using any non-registered or alternate mobile number.
For Aadhaar PVC card, an individual can use his mobile number and order for the whole family. UIDAI has said in a tweet that now you can use any mobile number to get OTP for authentication and for this you no longer need a registered mobile number. To order a new PVC Aadhaar card, you can visit the link ttps: //residentpvc.uidai.gov.in/order-pvcreprint to order now.
