Infosys Q3 Results: Net profit of Rs 5,197 crore to country’s second largest IT company in third quarter
Infosys, the country’s second-largest IT company, reported a 16.6 percent jump in its integrated net profit in the December 2020 quarter. Infosys told the stock markets on Wednesday that the company reported a net profit of Rs 5,197 crore in the third quarter of the current financial year. The company had a net profit of Rs 4,457 crore in the December quarter of the previous financial year. Between October and December 2020, the company’s revenue increased by 12.3 percent to Rs 25,927 crore. The company had a revenue of Rs 23,092 crore between October-December 2019.
Infosys has raised its earnings growth target to 4.5-5 percent in FY 2020-21, keeping the currency constant. Earlier in October, Infosys had targeted revenue growth of 2-3 percent.
Salil Parekh, the company’s CEO and MD, has said, “The Infosys team has delivered impressive results in another quarter….”
He said that he is much more confident about the future with a lot of emphasis on the needs of the clients and on the basis of a broad foundation built with diverse capabilities.
