Elon Musk’s trouble hard, Tesla ordered to recall 158,000 cars

US regulators have ordered the return of 158,000 cars to Tesla, the company of the world’s richest man Elon Musk. Due to security flaws, the company has been asked to recall these cars. In a letter sent to Tesla by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the display screen of the company’s cars has a problem, causing many problems.

The agency says that the Tesla Model S cars built between 2012 and 2018 and the Model X cars made between 2016 and 2018 have been found to be flawed. The letter said that the motor vehicle safety was threatened by the failure of the Media Control Unit (MCU).

Tesla not obliged to obey the order

The regulators have asked Tesla to tell all car owners, buyers and dealers about this safety defect and fix it. Although Tesla is not obliged to obey the regulators’ order, it has until January 27 to clarify.

Recalling 158,000 cars is a major headache for the company. The company sold 5 lakh cars last year. In recent times, the company’s shares have risen significantly and its market cap has crossed $800 billion. Tesla is the world’s most valuable auto company. Musk has become the world’s richest man thanks to the sharp rise in Tesla’s shares.
