PGCIL gets two power transmission projects in Rajasthan
Public Sector Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) has bagged two power transmission projects in Rajasthan through tariff-based competitive bidding.
The company gave this information in a notice sent to BSE.
PGCIL said that it has been declared successful in the tariff-based competitive bidding for setting up two transmission projects.
However, the company has not disclosed the value of these projects.
The company said that it has got the contract to strengthen the transmission system for power from the solar power sectors under phase two – Part A of Rajasthan (8.1 GW).
In addition, it has also received a contract to strengthen the transmission system under Rajasthan (8.1 GW) four two-part B.
The letter of intent (LOI) was released to PGCIL on 29 January for both projects.
