India’s first CNG tractor will be launched, will help farmers to reduce costs and increase income
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari will launch the country’s first CNG tractor in India on Friday. This tractor is jointly developed by Romat Techno Solution and Tomasetto Achille India. This will help the farmers to increase their income by reducing their costs. The ministry said in a statement that this tractor will also help in generating employment opportunities in rural India. With the help of this tractor, farmers will save up to 1 lakh rupees in their fuel expenditure every year, which will help in improving their standard of living.
These benefits will be from CNG tractor
Pollution will be less: CNG is beneficial in controlling pollution. CNG tractors will reduce carbon emissions. The CNG engine emits 70 percent less emissions than the diesel engine.
Farmers’ income will increase: CNG is cheaper than any other fuel. In such a situation, CNG tractors will help in increasing the income of farmers.
Safe: CNG tanks are tightly sealed, so there is little scope for explosion or fire during refueling.
Will get more engine life: It has been converted with new technology. Therefore, the life of CNG engine will be longer than conventional tractors. CNG fitted tractors do not contain lead content. Due to this, the engine will work for a long time.
Higher mileage: CNG tractors will also have higher mileage than diesel. Therefore, the use of this will reduce the expenses of farmers on fuel.
Maintenance expenses also less: Maintenance expenses will also be less than that of a fuel tractor. This will save money.
There are currently 12 million CNG vehicles worldwide
The ministry said that CNG is the future. At present, 1.2 million vehicles are run by natural gas all over the world and many companies and municipal corporations are adding CNG vehicles to their fleet every day. This is the first such tractor in India to be equipped with CNG. The CNG tractor also produces more or equal power than a diesel engine. The CNG engine emits 70 percent less emissions than the diesel engine. At the current price of diesel at Rs 77.43 per liter, farmers will save up to 50 percent with the help of this tractor, as the current price of CNG is Rs 42 per kg.
