IRCTC launches iPay payment gateway, will book tickets online in few seconds
IRCTC has recently started an online ticket booking service. Apart from this, this official ticket booking platform of Indian Railways has also been upgraded. Now IRCTC has launched a new payment gateway iPay. Passengers will be able to use this payment gateway for online ticket booking. This service can be used through IRCTC website and Rail Connect app. In this, the user will have to give permission for their debit card and UPI transaction, which will make ticket booking even easier.
IRCTC upgraded the website and Rail Connect mobile app only last month. Many new features have been added to these, due to which passengers have been facilitated in online ticket booking. Now after the arrival of this newly upgraded payment gateway iPay, passengers will be able to make railway reservations in a few seconds. Also, a refund will also be available to the user’s account on the cancellation of the ticket.
Will work like this
Through IRCTC iPay, the user has to enter their payment information once. In the payment information, users can link their debit card information as well as UPI. To link an account, the user has to give permission in the website or app. Once the payment information is saved, passengers will not be required to enter details for payment again whenever they book tickets online through IRCTC. Travelers can either use iPay or use any of the other available options.
Paying through IRCTC iPay will save time for passengers booking tickets. Especially when booking Tatkal tickets, you will get the convenience due to this new payment gateway, which will benefit the user and will also increase the chances of booking a confirmed ticket.
