Aditya Birla Health Insurance has updated its flagship Health Insurance Active Health. Under this, the full amount of the premium will be refunded to the policyholder if there is no claim for two years. The company says that this is the first such plan in the health insurance industry in which 100% premium will be refunded.
There will be a facility to reload rewards and sum insured
The statement issued by the company said that in the updated version of the active health policy, the policyholder will have the facility to reload rewards and 100% of the sum assured. The policyholder will be rewarded with the same rewards as cash. These rewards can be used for health expenses such as purchasing medicines, paying for diagnostic tests, day-care treatment, out-patient expenses (OPD) and alternative treatments.
Rewards can also be used in premium payment
Company CEO Mayank Bathwal says policyholders can get 100% bonus of sum insured for two claim-free years. These rewards can also be used to pay future premiums.
Mental disease counseling will also be covered in the Active Health Policy
In the Active Health Policy, policyholders will get coverage of diseases like mental illness counseling, unlimited homeopathy telemedicine, day-care treatment, asthma, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes from day one.
Treatment will also be provided in foreign countries
In this policy, policyholders will get cashless treatment abroad. This facility will be available for the treatment of critical illnesses. Policyholders will get a cover of 3 to 6 crores for treatment abroad. Covid-19 is also covered in this policy.
