Apple gives big feature, transfer the pictures of iCloud to Google Photos

Till now Google Photos from Apple’s iCloud did not have the facility to transfer photos, videos and files but now it has become possible to do so. Now you can easily transfer iCloud Photo Library to Google Photos. Apple has now given a new service through which this work can be automated.

Apple has said about the new feature that it is a very easy transfer process and all formats like jpg, .png, webp, and gif are supported. And for videos, it supports mpg, mod, mmv, tod, wmv, asf, avi, divx, mov, m4v, 3gp, 3g2, mp4, m2t, m2ts, mts and mkv.

Before transfer, let us tell you that the content which is not in your library will not be transferred. Apart from this, it is also an important thing that this facility is currently available only in Australia, Canada, European Union, Island, New Zealand, Switzerland, USA and UK.

How to transfer iCloud library to Google Photos?

  • Go to privacy.apple.com in a web browser such as Safari or Chrome.
  • Now login with your Apple ID and click on Continue.
  • Now click on “Request to Transfer a Copy of Your Data”.
  • Now click on the drop-down menu and select Google Photos.
  • Now select the file or content you want to transfer.
  • After this, a new window will open, login with Google account in it.

Now give permission for the transfer. After this, the file will be transferred to Google Photos within three-seven days.
