Reliance Jio Launches Multiple Enterprise Services including JioBusiness, Fast Voice and Data for MSME

Reliance Jio has launched an integrated technology solution ‘JioBusiness‘ for very small, small and medium enterprises (MSME). The company has said that the purpose of launching this solution is to help MSME to make the work easier and to compete with the big companies. Voice and data services will be provided through enterprise-grade fiber connectivity to expand business in JioBusiness. Its monthly rental plan will be between Rs 901 to Rs 10,001.

The cost of MSME will come down to one-tenth

Jio director Akash Ambani said in a statement, “MSMEs are not able to use digital technology to run their businesses optimally because of the lack of integrated digital service and insufficient information to use.” They have to spend 15,000 to 20,000 rupees every month for connectivity, productivity and automation tools. Ambani said that all their needs will be fulfilled with this service starting from Rs. 1,000 per month of live, in less than one-tenth of the cost.

What will MSME get in JioBusiness?

In JioBusiness, customers will get a fixed-mobile convergence facility besides unlimited fiber broadband and voice service. They will also get digital solutions such as Microsoft 365, Outlook Email, One Drive, Jio Attendance, JioOnline, JioMeet and Microsoft Teams. Customers of JioBusiness will be offered special device offers of Reliance Digital in seven different tariff plans.

Integrated Technology Solutions costs $1,000 monthly

Mukesh Ambani said at the 42nd Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries in August 2019 that the company, in partnership with Microsoft, would provide SMEs with unlimited enterprise-grade voice and data services, video conferencing, security solutions, marketing and sales solutions. He had said that MSME has to spend 15,000 to 20,000 rupees every month on the package of connectivity, productivity and automation tools to run the business. Such service costs $1,000 monthly in foreign countries.

MSME’s digitization market to be $85 billion by 2024

According to a report, the digitization market of the Indian MSME was worth $30 billion in 2019. It has projected this market to grow by 25% year-on-year to $85 billion by 2024. Then the number of SMEs can reach 105 million and 90% of them will use digital technology. Presently the percentage of such SMEs is 70%.
