Axis Bank launches handheld payment device, no need to enter PIN for payment
The trend of contactless payment in digital payments is growing rapidly. In view of this, Axis Bank has launched ‘Wear N Pay’ wearable contactless payment device. These devices can be worn with bands, key chains and watch loops. Its price is 750 rupees.
Connected to bank account
This device is linked to the account of Axis Bank customers and it acts like a debit card. This allows purchases at any merchant store that accepts contactless transactions. The Wear N Pay device can be ordered over the phone or from any Axis Bank branch.
You can pay up to 5 thousand without entering a PIN
Through this, you can make a payment of up to 5 thousand rupees on a Point of Sale (PoS) machine without a PIN. The PIN will be required on payment of more than 5 thousand rupees. Apart from this, you will get a cashback of up to 10% on certain brands on payment. Apart from this, your loss will also be covered if there is a fraud.
Axis Bank launched a WhatsApp Banking service
Axis Bank customers will now be able to get basic banking facilities on WhatsApp as well. There will be no break of bank holidays in this service, that is, this facility will be available day and night throughout the year. To start WhatsApp banking service, one has to send ‘Hi’ to WhatsApp on 7036165000.
With the WhatsApp service, customers will be able to get the details of the amount, recent transactions in their account. Customers will also be able to get details of credit card payments, fixed and recurring deposits on WhatsApp. Through this service, they will be able to get answers to their questions on real-time basis immediately.
