Twitter introduced features like Facebook and Snapchat, know how it will work
Micro-blogging platform Twitter has announced a new feature, which will be similar to the features of Facebook and Snapchat. The new feature of Twitter will be Fleet supported. Meaning the advertisement can be placed in the middle of the Twitter Fleet. This will be the first time that such a feature is being introduced by Twitter. Let us know that Fleets are a disappearing tweet, which appears at the top of the profile of Twitter users. Fleets are full-screen billboards for advertising.
Twitter Senior Product Manager Justin Hoang and Austin Evers said, “Fleet ads are a space where brands and creatives can place their ads.” Fleets was launched by Twitter in November last year, where people will be able to customize their tweets with Fleet text, Twitter reactions, photos or videos. In this, the background of the fleet can be changed. Fleet Aid will support video and photo in 9:16 ratio. Fleet will support 30 seconds of content in video format. Also, the brand will be able to add swipe-up, call-to-action buttons to the fleet.
For example, in the Fleets app, advertisers will be able to enjoy features including standard Twitter ad metrics such as impressions, profile visits, clicks. In April this year, Twitter announced that it would aim to increase ad revenue by 32 percent to $899 million in a year. Also, the total engagement is expected to grow by 11 percent. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said the company did not build Fleet into Twitter as a storage project. Fleet was created to solve the problem of people who don’t want to tweet because tweets are too long. Jack Dorsey believes he still has a lot to learn.
