Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey debate on Twitter about Bitcoin, said – let’s talk…
The debate about digital currency has been going on for a long time. In this debate, the names of two big personalities of the world often come up the most. Tesla CEO Elon Musk, following a tweet by which the price of the cryptocurrency starts skyrocketing and one of his tweets changes the fortunes of a new startup overnight. Musk is behind the popularity of Dogecoin. Another name is Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. Jack Dorsey has been a supporter of cryptocurrencies for quite some time now. Now Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey’s debate about cryptocurrencies has sparked a new debate on social media.
Jack Dorsey has started talking a lot about Bitcoin in recent days. They are constantly trying to spread awareness about Bitcoin. Recently, he has shared the link of the article on Twitter in which he has explained why institutions should adopt digital currency. Elon Musk has responded to this tweet by Jack Dorsey, after which the entire Twitter has started debating the digital currency.
Dorsey shared a link to The B Word website, which is part of an initiative by the Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI). In this article, Jack Dorsey said that there should be development around Bitcoin and we want to help in this.
In response to Dorsey’s tweet, Elon Musk wrote, ‘Bicurious’. Musk’s reply could have multiple meanings, as in May this year his company Tesla said it would no longer accept Bitcoin, after which the currency saw a sharp drop in value. Dorsey also responded to this reply from Musk and wrote, ‘Weird! Let’s talk about you and us at an event. You can share all your queries with me. Musk’s reply to this came “Omg”. After this Jack Dorsey replied, ‘Let’s talk.’
Dorsey then tagged Euro Pacific Capital CEO Peter Schiff and asked Musk if you would like Peter Schiff to join our conversation. Explain that Schiff has been identified as an opponent of digital currency. Schiff often recommends investing in gold rather than Bitcoin.
“The main problem with fiat currency is that it’s not backed by real money and #Bitcoin doesn’t fix that,” Schiff replied after Dorsey tagged it. Money is a commodity. Historically the best commodity to use as money is gold.
