The PrintNightmare security bug has affected users of Windows Server 2004, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, Windows 7, Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.
Last week, a security researcher reported on Windows’ PrintNightmare bug. It was said in the report that by taking advantage of this bug, hackers can take data from your computer. Apart from this, hackers can also install any other software in your system.
The report also claimed that by taking advantage of this bug, hackers can create a new administrator account in your system. Microsoft has stated that remote code can be executed when Windows Print Spooler is not working properly. Microsoft has said that initially this security update has been released for only a few users, but will soon be released for other users as well.
