74 percent people are getting unwanted messages even after DND is turned on

There will be many of you who will be getting unwanted messages from all the companies every day. There will be many people who have turned on Do Not Disturb (DND) on their number, but even then people will have to deal with all kinds of unwanted promotional messages and calls. You will be surprised to know that if this is happening to you, then you are not alone, 74 percent of the people who have turned on DND are getting unwanted messages and calls. This information has been obtained from a survey.

A report by the online platform LocalCircles has claimed that 74 percent of people are receiving unsolicited messages despite being named in TRAI’s DND list. According to the survey report, out of the unsolicited messages sent to 26 percent of the people, 25 percent are from the mobile service provider itself. LocalCircles conducted this survey with 35,000 people from 324 districts of the country.

If you are getting messages like this even after DND is turned on, then there is currently no easy way to stop it. One way is to block the number of senders of these messages one by one.

The government is working

To stop these unwanted calls and messages, the government is preparing new rules for mobile customers. If this rule is broken by any company, then a fine ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 10,000 can also be imposed on the sender of the message.
