rone to security flaws. Security flaws were found in 88 percent of banking apps, 84 percent of budget apps and 80 percent of payment apps. Security-related flaws were also found in productivity apps (58 percent), educational apps (57 percent), tools for teachers (56 percent) and entertainment apps (55 percent). In the first quarter of 2021, 3,137 unique vulnerabilities were found, which appeared over 82,000 times across all Android apps. Productivity and banking apps are second and third in the list. They had 41 per cent and 39 per cent security flaws respectively.
In the past, ThreatLabs researchers said that in total, over 50 Joker payloads have been detected in Android apps in the past two and a half months, with the main apps being linked to your everyday life. In this, more targeting has been done through health, utility apps.
