From View Ones to Encrypted Cloud Backup, new WhatsApp features launched

In the last month, WhatsApp has made several updates, ranging from maintaining photo quality when sending photos to connecting to multiple devices. Today we have brought a complete list of such features, which have been updated by WhatsApp latest.

1. Multiple device login feature

With multiple logins, users will be able to access their single WhatsApp account on 4 different devices. That is, you can login to WhatsApp on laptop, desktop and tablet with phone. Till now, the WhatsApp account was used to login to these devices only when your smartphone is on and connected to the internet.

2. View Once Feature

With this feature the photo and video sent in the chat will be deleted after viewing it. This feature is similar to the Dispersing feature of Snapchat and Instagram. It was introduced for Android beta users only in the month of June and now it has been launched for iOS beta users as well.

3. Encrypted Cloud Backup Feature

With this feature, chat backup can now be more secure than before. WhatsApp does not yet provide end-to-end encryption for third party backup ie cloud backup, which used to keep WhatsApp chats in third party platforms like Google Drive.

With the help of this feature, WhatsApp users will be able to encrypt their chats privately.

4. New interface will be available in video calling

The company has created a new interface to improve the calling experience of iPhone users. The new calling interface looks like Apple’s FaceTime. The new update will be available to iPhone users on version 2.21.140. Now the user will get new buttons and controls.
