Tata Tiago NRG launched, the car will get 2 airbags for safety, 7-inch infotainment with 8 speakers

Tata Motors has launched its all-new crossover hatchback Tiago NRG. The previous generation of the NRG was discontinued after the company came out with the Tiago facelift last year. The new Tiago NRG is based on the facelifted version of Tata’s hatchback Tiago.

The new version comes with bold cladding on all four sides and a dual-tone paint scheme. At the same time, the ground clearance of the NRG is also higher than the standard Tiago.

The starting ex-showroom price of this car is Rs 6,57,400. At the same time, the initial ex-showroom price of its automatic variant is Rs 7,09,400. From today this car is available with the dealers and the customers can buy it. The car will be available in four color options Foresta Green, Snow White, Fire Red and Cloudy Grey.

Specifications of 2021 Tata Tiago NRG

• It will get a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine like the old model, which produces 86PS of power and 113Nm of torque. The car will get 5-speed manual and automatic transmission.
• The top-end variant of the car will get a 7-inch infotainment system along with 8 speakers from Harman Kardon. This infotainment supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
• The Tata Tiago NRG gets a charcoal black interior similar to the previous NRG edition. The car has been launched in a dual-tone paint scheme.
• The ground clearance of the car is 10mm more than the standard Tiago. The ground clearance of Tiago NRG will be 181mm. The car has 15-inch ‘hyperstyle wheels’.

For safety

The car, which got a 4-star rating, will get rear parking sensors and autofold ORVMs with push button to start the engine with keyless entry. The standard variant gets dual front bags with ABS, EBD and CSC for safety. This car has got a 4-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test.
