Amazon offers convenience Order online, take groceries from neighborhood store

The delivery of grocery items in India has not sold as much as fashion and cosmetic or electronic items. Now its preparation is in full swing. Amazon is preparing to make a big difference in the grocery segment. Most of the online shopping is about delivery but Amazon is going to adopt the pickup model again and for this the company is preparing to open more and more retail outlets. After the arrival of the new model of Amazon, you will be able to order online and go to the neighborhood store to get groceries.

In the e-grocery market, Amazon is going to compete with companies like Reliance Jio, Big Basket, Flipkart, Grofers. Amazon has already done this experiment in the US. This model of Amazon will work under Amazon Fresh and Amazon Grocery. Amazon Fresh Online Grocery Order has started from Bangalore currently, this facility is currently free in Bangalore under the launching offer. 

This Amazon model does not have cash on delivery. You will have to make the payment at the time of ordering and after that you will be able to pick up the goods from the shop. This model has the facility of online payment. Amazon has partnered with Samsra Capital for this grocery model. Samsra had bought the Aditya Birla Group’s More retail chain in 2019.

This shopping model of Amazon is currently being tested, because while most people in the US prefer online payment, people in India prefer cash on delivery, while this model does not have the facility of cash.
