Facebook’s big action, dozens of pages spreading rumors about Covid-19 vaccine deleted

Rumors have also started spreading very fast since the beginning of the corona epidemic. Big companies like Facebook, Twitter and Google are also making constant efforts to fight this misinformation, but they have not been completely stopped yet. 

Now Facebook has deleted dozens of Facebook pages sharing false information about the Corona vaccine. Let us tell you that a few days ago, US President Joe Biden has asked companies like YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Google to stop spreading misinformation about Corona.

Recently, the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) identified 12 such Facebook pages that were constantly sharing false information about the vaccine. After this report, Facebook has said that it has deleted three dozen such pages which were sharing misleading information about the vaccine. Some of these accounts were also of Instagram. According to Facebook, 12 people were handling these three dozen pages, action has also been taken against these people. Recently, many posts were shared on social media regarding the vaccine, in which it was claimed that these vaccines harm the fertility of women.
