Bharatam app launched in India, will get all the features like Facebook

There has been a flood of Made in India apps since the banning of around 250 Chinese apps last year. After the closure of one Tiktok, many made in India apps came to the market. In this episode, now Made in India Facebook app has been launched which has been named as Bharatam app. Bharatam can be downloaded for free from Google Play Store. Apart from the app, it can also be used on the web.

It is claimed about Bharatam that it is the country’s first social networking platform. Apart from this, it is also claimed that Bharatam is a secure platform. Its founder is Neeraj Bisht. Neeraj Bisht has previously worked with Delivery King and Yum Box.

Bharatam was published on Google Play-store on 24 July 2021 and so far it has been downloaded by more than 12 thousand people. In the initial phase, there was an investment of 8-10 lakhs in Bharatam and at present it is kept in the freemium model.

There is also a short video app inbuilt in Bharatam app named Kalakar. More than 15 local languages ​​are supported with the Bharatam app. Bharatam for iOS will be launched next month.

Features of Bharatam App

The interface of Bharatam app is very similar to Facebook, although there are many new features too. Usually trending hashtags are not visible on Facebook, but in Bharatam app you can see trending hashtags and share your posts accordingly. Apart from this, it also has many features like Explore, Popular Post.

It also has Nearby Search i.e. you can make friends in Bharatam app based on location. It also has the option to make friends and follow like Facebook. Bharatam also has a marketplace for playing games, watching movies and buying and selling products.
