Rs 150 crore stock will be given

This was announced by Raghav Chandra, co-founder of Urban Company here on Wednesday. He said that it is happening for the first time in the industry that the company’s service providers will be given stock. Actually, the company has prepared a partner stock ownership plan. Under this, in the next five to seven years, 20 to 30 thousand service providers will be given a stock of Rs 150 crore.

Gig workers will become share holders

Raghav Chandra says that this plan is to make thousands of service partners as share holders. This is probably the first of its kind scheme in the world where gig workers are becoming the shareholders of the company. This scheme will give an opportunity to the service partners to participate in the profits of the company in the times to come. He says that only those service providers will get the stocks, which will meet the standards of performance and platform connectivity. A fair and meritorious process will be followed for its selection.

Partners earn on average 30 thousand

According to the Urban Company Earnings Index, if its associated partners deliver at least 30 orders in a month, then they get a chance to earn up to Rs 30455. Some of these partners are such that they are earning even Rs 38263 crore. They are also given training from time to time for development in technical and soft skills.
