Karnataka government approves 48 industrial projects worth Rs 2,062 crore

Bengaluru, Mar 6 (PTI) The Karnataka government has approved 48 industrial projects worth Rs 2,062 crore which are expected to provide employment to over 6,393 people in the state.

These projects were approved in a meeting of the State Level Single Window Clearance Committee chaired by Heavy and Medium Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani on Saturday.

According to Nirani, the committee approved after considering seven large and medium-sized industrial projects worth Rs 1,275.67 crore. These projects are expected to provide employment to 3,181 people in the state.

Apart from this, 40 new projects with investment above Rs 15 crore and less than Rs 50 crore were approved in the meeting. These are valued at Rs 724.87 crore and will provide employment to 3,212 people.
