After this, Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran took over the responsibility. But the search for a CEO to hand over the reins of Air India was on in full swing. Now Tata Sons has appointed 50-year-old Campbell Wilson to this position.

According to the report, Wilson has 26 years of experience in the aviation industry. He has rendered his services in many countries of the world. After a long search, Tata Sons on May 12 announced that Campbell Wilson, the founding CEO of low-cost airline Scoot, has been appointed as the MD and CEO of Air India.
