Although he did not specify the progress made in this regard, his remarks that indigenous 6G services could be rolled out in the country by the end of the decade indicated that work on the project has already started. Is.


PM Modi launches 5G testbed in India


At the event, PM Modi also launched a 5G testbed, which has been developed as a multi-institution collaborative project. This 5G testbed has been created as a result of the work of a total of eight premier institutes led by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras.


Other institutions participating in the project include IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (SAMEER) and Center of Excellence in Wireless Technology (CEWiT). Huh.
