Adobe may launch a free web version of Photoshop soon, know details
Adobe may soon provide users with a free version of Photoshop. The company is conducting free trials for the web version and the company is preparing to offer this service to everyone for free. According to a report in The Verge, Adobe is preparing to name this service freemium. Actually this means that this service will be free. However, some of its features will not be available after a while.
The publication is claiming that Photoshop will initially be available for free with all the features and later Adobe will remove some of these features. These features will only be offered to those who purchase a subscription to this service. It is possible that by doing this the company is trying to attract more and more people to this service. If users want more features for a better experience, then they will definitely buy a subscription.
Maria Yap, vice president of digital imaging at Adobe, told The Verge that we want to make Photoshop more accessible and easier for as many people as possible to try it out and experience the product. He further said that we want users to be able to use Photoshop from where they are. They don’t need a high-end machine for Photoshop.
At the moment it is not clear whether the free version will have ads or not. The web versions of many photo editing platforms offer free service but in return they show a lot of advertisements. Also, the company has not made it clear that it will provide free service to everyone. It has been told in the report that the company is testing it in Canada. But, when will it be brought in other areas. Nothing is clear about this. Nothing has been said about whether it will be launched in India or not. But, it is expected to come more because it is a popular editing software in India.
