Modi inaugurates Bosch India’s smart campus in Bengaluru.

Bengaluru, June 30 (PTI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday digitally inaugurated the new ‘smart’ campus of technology company Bosch India.

According to the company statement, the Prime Minister in his address said that this is a special year for both India and Bosch India. India is celebrating 75 years of independence while Bosch is celebrating the centenary of its presence in India.

He said, “A hundred years ago, Bosch came to India as a German company and it is as German as it is Indian. It is a perfect example of German engineering and Indian energy.”

He said, “This campus will play a vital role in developing the products and solutions of the future for India and the world. I urge Bosch to think about doing more in India and set goals for the next 25 years.”

Bosch India said in a statement that it is expanding its AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) activities in India. For this it is shifting its headquarters in Adugodi to a new smart campus called SPARK, which is being called SPARK NXT.

The company said that in the last five years, the company has invested Rs 800 crore in the development of the complex. It can employ 10,000 workers.

According to the statement, this is Bosch’s first smart campus in India spread over 76 acres. It has many smart solutions for associates, visitors etc.
