Too many chargers will end
According to the official, there are plans to eliminate the many chargers that have been arranged so far. In addition, this will also reduce e-waste. Recently, the European Union has called for a rule to adopt a USB-C port for small electronic devices by 2024. Similar plans are being made in America as well.
Emphasis on change
The official said that companies in Europe and America can provide such service, then why can’t they do so in India? Portable devices like smartphones and tablets should only have a normal charger. The official said that if India does not insist on this change, then such products can be dumped here. At present, customers have to buy a new charger separately every time they buy a new device due to this.
