Apple lays off: ‘Apple layoffs’, 100 contract workers out, Google has also warned employees.

After Google issued a ‘Blood in the Streets’ warning to its employees, now Apple has also shown the way out of many employees. According to media reports, the company has taken this step to reduce its hiring and spending.

According to a Bloomberg report, Apple has fired nearly a hundred contractual employers who worked to recruit employees for Apple, the world’s most valuable company.

The employees whose contracts have been canceled have been told by the company that they will get two weeks’ pay and medical facilities. At the same time, according to this report, such employers who are associated with the company as full time employees have been retained.

Apple has told the furloughed employees that this layoff has been done in view of the company’s financial needs. The company’s chief executive Tim Cook said last month that Apple will spend its expenses wisely.

According to media reports, Team Cook had said that we believe in investing during recession. The company will continue to recruit personnel and spend in different critical areas, but will do so keeping in view the market conditions.

Earlier, tech world giant Google had warned its employees of layoffs if the results were not there.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai has said this month that he is not satisfied with the work output of the company’s employees. He had said that the productivity of the company is less than what it should be.
