Although many Apple phones are already being produced in India, but now the news is that the iPhone 14 will also be manufactured in India. It is being said in a Bloomberg report that after the initial two months of production in China, Apple Inc will start production of iPhone 14 in India itself.

For this, Apple is constantly contacting the supplier. Apple is considering starting more production lines outside China amid US tensions with China. Currently, most of Apple’s products are made in China.

Apple has three manufacturing partners in India which include Foxconn (Hon Hai), Wistron and Pegatron. These three partners are also partners of the Production Linked Incentive of the Government of India and for this they will have to produce at least 8,000 crores by the end of this year, only then the incentive will be received from the government.

After China, India is becoming a big manufacturing hub for tech companies. Apple may be considering the production of iPhone in India, but maintaining the security and standard of the phone is also coming up as a big challenge for it.
