However, Billy did not say which product will not get the charger. Also, it did not say in which market Oppo phones without charger will be introduced.

Apart from OPPO, OnePlus phones can also come without a charger. According to the report, this decision of Oppo will be for the entire brand. Oppo currently has a unique 80W SuperVOOC compatible charger that no other brand uses. The company’s vice president did not specify the reason for removing the charger from the phone’s box, but like other companies, Oppo is taking this decision to control e-waste.
Legal action against Apple and Samsung
Apple and Samsung have faced legal action in many countries for selling phones without a charger. Recently, a Brazilian court fined Apple for selling an iPhone without a charger. At the same time, Samsung has also been sued in many countries for selling phones without a charger. Both these companies do not provide chargers with their flagship as well as mid-budget phones.
