Samsung targeted Apple: On the launch of the iPhone-14 series, it said, ‘When it is folded, tell it, there are many options of foldable phones in the Galaxy series’

Apple launched 4 phones of the iPhone 14 series on 7 September. After the launch of these phones, Samsung has indirectly targeted Apple products through its social media account. Samsung said without naming that ‘Tell me when it is folded.’

Samsung launched its first foldable smartphone ‘Galaxy Fold Z’ in 2018. But Apple has not yet launched any foldable phone. For this, Samsung has trolled Apple without naming it. The world’s first foldable smartphone ‘FlexiePie’ was launched by Royale Company in China for Rs 95,400.

Troll without name

Apple introduced the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max at the launching event at 10.30 pm (IST) in California. Samsung US tweeted at 11.51 pm, ‘Tell me when it is folded.’ Samsung clearly did not name Apple. But, from the timing of the tweet, users assumed that Apple was being trolled. That’s it, a debate started between Apple and Samsung users in the comment section.

Apart from not bringing a foldable smartphone, Samsung also tweeted on the purple color of the iPhone 14 series and the shape of the smartwatch. Samsung and Apple users started a social media war as soon as they saw the tweet.

Samsung has brought many foldable smartphones

In 2018, Samsung launched its first foldable smartphone ‘Galaxy Fold Z’ in the US. After this it was also launched in India in October 2019. The 4.6-inch foldable phone becomes a 7.4-inch screen after opening. The price of this 5G phone is Rs 1,09,490. It was priced at Rs 1.41 lakh at the time of launch.

Samsung dominates flip and foldable smartphones

Currently, there are 7 models of Samsung’s flip and foldable smartphones in the market in India. The latest one is the ‘Galaxy Z Flip4 5G’ Flip smartphone priced at Rs.89,999. Apart from this, Galaxy Z Flip 3 (Rs 84,999) and Galaxy Z Flip (Rs 59,999) are also available in the market. The ‘Galaxy Z Fold 4 5G’ is the company’s latest foldable phone priced at Rs 1,54,999. Among the foldable smartphones, Galaxy Z Fold 3 (Rs 1,39,999), Galaxy Z Fold 2 (Rs 1,89,999) and Galaxy Z Fold are also available.
