Hurun Rich List: In the list of 100 founders of 59 startups, know which two famous faces were out of the top-200?
For the first time in the country, 100 founders of 59 startups have been included in the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List. Their total market value has been Rs 5.06 lakh crore. Of these, 65 founders are from 37 unicorn startups. In this list too, Gautam Adani has overtaken Mukesh Ambani and has become number one.
The average age of young people included in the IIFL Wealth Hurun India Rich List is 40 years. According to Hurun India’s Rich List, ten years ago the youngest entrepreneur in this list was 37 years old, last year the youngest entrepreneur was 23 years old but this year the youngest entrepreneur is just 19 years old.
Apart from Nayaka’s Falguni Nair, those who made it to this list include Byju’s founder Byju Ravindran (Rs 30,600 crore), Zerodha’s Nitin Kamath (24,400 crore), Nikhil Kamath (17,500 crore), Sanjeev Bikhchandani of Infoage (19,600 crore), Cred K Kunal Shah (15,000 cr), Ronnie Screwvala (12,800 cr), Upgrades’ Bhavish Agarwal (11,700 cr), Eruditus Education’s Ashwin Damera (11,200 cr), Jetaz Divyank Turakhia (11,200 cr), Bhavin Turakhia (10,800 cr) Huh.
Sharing about this list, Rahman Junaid of Hurun India wrote that the IPOs of some high profile startups have reflected the valuation spread among institutional and retail investors. We are confident that startups will continue to make money. However, the rules of the game will keep changing.
