Announcement of bonus for railway employees: In the cabinet meeting, it was also decided to give assistance of ₹ 22,000 crore to the government oil marketing companies.

Giving relief to the government oil marketing companies, the central government has announced a big bonus in the Union Cabinet held today (October 12). Giving information about the decisions taken in the cabinet meeting, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the government oil marketing companies have been approved for allocation of Rs 22,000 crore to compensate for the loss of LPG.

These companies are incurring loss by selling LPG gas below the market rate, so the government is giving them relief by giving this subsidy. Oil Corporation Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited will benefit from this decision.

Announcement of bonus for railway employees

The central government has announced bonus for railway employees before Diwali. 11 lakh 27 thousand railway employees will be given a bonus of 1 thousand 832 crores. Employees will get 78 days salary as bonus.

PM Divine Scheme approved

PM Divine Scheme has been approved. In this, the government will spend Rs 6,600 crore in the coming 4 years (2022-23 to 2025-26). Apart from this, it has been decided in the cabinet to build a container terminal on PPP model and multi-purpose cargo at Deendayal Port in Gujarat.
