According to media reports, Indian biscuit maker Parle G may soon buy Polish company Dr. Gerard. Parle company is in talks with private equity firm Bridgepoint for this deal. The Dr Gerard company, established in 1993, was bought by Bridgepoint from Groupe Poult of France in 2013.
According to the information available on the company’s website, Dr. Gerard, a Polish company, manufactures about 200 products. Its product list includes a variety of biscuits and salty snacks. The company exports these products to more than 30 countries. Earlier this year, Bridgepoint hired investment bank Houlihan Loki to exit Dr Gerard, but the process did not pick up due to the Russia-Ukraine war.

According to media reports, the estimated value of this biscuit maker company from Poland is 10 to 12 billion rupees.
