Free Trade Agreement: Agreement between India and Australia benefits both countries, 100% employment will increase in two years.
Australian High Commissioner to India Barry O’Farrell AO has said that the Free Trade Agreement will benefit the economies of both the countries. This will encourage development. He has said that under this trade agreement, duties on 96% of Indian goods entering Australia have been reduced. This will create employment in both India and Australia. In this, employment will increase by 100% in the next two years.
According to Australian High Commissioner to India Barry O’Farrell AO, the FTA will also increase opportunities for students and professionals moving to Australia. Investors in Australia and those working for tech companies providing critical services will get visas of up to four years.
“Given the increasing importance in Australia for qualified chefs and yoga teachers, 1800 visas will be issued a year for jobs related to them,” he added.
