Commenting on the Tecnova-HP partnership, Pranav Parikh, CMD, Tecnova said, “Our journey in digital printing began in 1993. Our partner Indigo was in the process of marketing their presses in India. Soon after, HP acquired the Indigo business and began working on the press’s capabilities to meet customer requirements. Meanwhile, Technova developed a special polyester-based non-tearable water resistant film for producing photographs on the indigo press. This helped HP replace silver halide paper based photos with digital polyester photos in the photo market. We have now further strengthened our partnership with HP. We are moving ahead with ‘Customer First’ approach.
A Appadurai, Country Business Manager, Indigo & Inkjet Business Solutions, HP India, said, “Our mission is to provide a level-playing field for start-ups and high-end SMBs. We want to be the incubator of packaging. For these startups, we are confident that the next generation of the print industry will be delighted to know that they are making a difference to the world through their work.
At the same time, CG Ramakrishnan, Executive Director and CEO said that the need of the hour is to adopt digitization. We are partnering with HP, the world’s leading digital print company. HP’s strategy to build an ecosystem of printers, brand owners, profitable applications and partners is unique. HP’s futuristic technology fits perfectly with Tecnova. Amit Khurana, COO, Digital and Offset Print Solutions at Technova, also described the HP-Technova partnership as a perfect complement to each other.
