New Delhi, Business Desk. Adani Renewable Energy Holding Too Limited, a company of Asia’s richest businessman Gautam Adani, is soon going to acquire 50 percent equity of Essel Infraprojects in Essel Solar Energy Company of Rajasthan Limited. For this the company will invest Rs 15 crore.
Adani has signed a term sheet with Essel Infraprojects Limited on January 17, 2023, under which Adani Renewable Energy Holding will hold 50 per cent stake in the company, while the remaining 50 per cent equity shares will remain with the Rajasthan government.
Schemes will be expanded
The acquisition is said to expand Adani Green Energy Limited’s (AGEL) plans in the state of Rajasthan. Please inform that Adani Green Energy Limited is already working on a project with the Government of Rajasthan. Under this, Adani Renewable Energy Park is running a solar park in Rajasthan Limited since 2015.

Presently Adani Renewable Energy Holding Too Limited (ESUCRL) owns the solar park with a capacity of 750 MW. ESUCRL has an authorized capital of Rs 50 crore, while the paid-up capital is Rs 46.56 crore. It is said that this acquisition is expected to enhance the value for the shareholders of the company.
