Alert: Government warns, there is a big flaw in this Microsoft product.

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN) has issued an alert regarding a Microsoft browser. CERT-IN warns people about any operating system or possible cyber bug or cyber attack in the country. Now CERT-IN has removed a major bug in the Microsoft Edge web browser. An alert has been issued by CERT-IN regarding Microsoft Edge browser.


This alert has been published on the website of CERT-In. It has been said in the alert that there is a bug in Microsoft Edge (Chromium), by taking advantage of which hackers can break all the security of a system and hack it. This is not the first time that CERT-In has issued such an alert. Usually, every month an alert comes from CERT-In regarding some or the other app or browser or operating system.


CERT-IN has said that by taking advantage of this bug, hackers can take any system on remote control and get any information present in it. With the help of this flaw, hackers can also send a special request to any B system. According to the report, version 109.0.1518.61 of Microsoft Edge browser is affected by this flaw.


How to protect your system from this bug


CERT-IN has said in its report that to avoid this flaw, update your Microsoft Edge immediately. Microsoft has also released a new version of this browser. To update the browser, open the Microsoft browser and go to Settings by clicking on the three dots appearing on the right and then click on About Microsoft Edge. After this you will get the option of update. Be sure to restart your browser after the update.
