PM Modi: CEOs of German companies met PM, said – the whole world needs programs like Make in India

A group of Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of German companies met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. All of them were from major German companies belonging to various production sectors. He described PM Modi’s Make in India vision as the need of the whole world. Also discussed new opportunities for investment, infrastructure, education and business in India.


India will be far ahead in 20 years


Hapag Lloyd CEO Rolf Heban said – The world needs programs like Make in India, and also those who export the products made from it. Good development in infrastructure will help in this. We know that India is going to grow a lot in the next 20 years.

Dr. Tobias Mayer, CEO, Deutsche Post DHL Group, said, “Infrastructure development in India – the seeds are being sown, they will soon be reaped. We are seeing real potential here and things moving forward.

SSP CEO Christian Klein said – We are working with thousands of start-ups in India. There is a high potential for working in a sustainable manner. We are going to double our investment here.
