American industrialist praised India: Said, there is an opportunity for entrepreneurship, now big companies will emerge from here.

American industrialist and co-founder of Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) Frank D’Souza praised India on Sunday. D’Souza said that in the last few decades, there has been a lot of growth in entrepreneurship within India. The Government of India provided a remarkable business opportunity to the entrepreneurs and companies. D’Souza further said that India is full of better possibilities. There is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs here.

D’Souza attended TiE New Jersey’s Excelsior Award program on Sunday along with Suresh Kumar, Professor and Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Programs at New Jersey Institute of Technology. Here he said in his address that there are two big opportunities for entrepreneurs and companies in India. First India for India and second India for the world. Means from here you can work for India as well as for the whole world.

What else did D’Souza say?

The opportunities in India are remarkable. The Government of India, the public sector, the private sector and the non-profit sector have together created an excellent environment for doing business in India. This is the reason why India has seen an incredible boom in the last few decades.

There is ample opportunity for all kinds of entrepreneurship in India. Not only IT, but every kind of entrepreneurship is getting a good chance here. I think that in the next two decades, India will provide all kinds of products to the whole world.

The next decade is going to be the one when India finally creates real IP software based companies for the world. The next Oracle, the next Google, the next Microsoft will be seen in India only. That’s what excites me.
