Paid parental leave is available in 12 states

But there are 12 states in America that provide the facility of paid parental and medical leave to the employees. Employees in California are also allowed to take up to eight weeks of paid leave under US state law. Apart from this, both the states of New York and New Jersey allow up to 26 weeks of unpaid leave. This includes job-protected leave in addition to 12 weeks of paid leave.
