SAP Labs India will provide more than 15 thousand jobs, construction of second campus starts in Bangalore!
SAP Labs India (SAP Labs India) has started construction of its second campus which is being built in Bengaluru. The construction of this second campus of the company has come into limelight because after its completion more than 15,000 jobs will be created here. On the one hand, there are news of layoffs from tech companies, in such a situation, this is a relief news from SAP Labs India.
SAP Labs has 20 labs worldwide which are present in 17 countries. If we talk about the people working in it, then the company has a workforce of 43000 employees. The company has said that it will increase further in the coming times. SAP Labs India has started building its second campus in Bangalore. Choosing this city is important for the company because it is the largest research and development hub of the company globally. It makes up 40 percent of the company’s global R&D.
The company launched it through a function event in which Sindhu Gangadharan, MD and SVP of SAP Labs India, was present. Along with CEO Mohammad Engi was also present here. Apart from this, people like the company’s regional head Roshan Gowda were also involved. SAP Labs India was started in November 1998. It has emerged here as the company’s largest R&D center after Germany. Now the company is going to build a second campus here which will be built in an area of 41.07 acres. It will have space for more than 15 thousand people.
SAP Labs India celebrated its 25th anniversary in India this year. On behalf of the company, Sindhu Gangadharan said that it is going to increase its investment in India. 15,000 jobs will be created in the new campus of 41 acres. It will be in Devanahalli, North Bangalore. The campus will be made environment friendly so that it will have minimum impact on the environment of Bangalore. It will run net zero, water positive and carbon neutral operation. Along with this, special care will also be taken for the health and well-being of the employees working in it. It has been said that the first phase of the facility will be completed by 2025 and it will be started.
