Dehradun: UP’s power company blacklisted in all three energy corporations of Uttarakhand, government issued instructions
UP’s power company MPBL Energy Pvt Ltd has been blacklisted by all the three power corporations of the state (UPCL, Pitkul, UJVNL). This company has been blacklisted twice in UP, which was participating in electricity related tenders in Uttarakhand by hiding the facts. The government had sent a letter of action to the corporations after getting it investigated.
The directors of UP’s SPBL Energy Pvt Ltd company are facing a fraud case in UP. He was accused of depositing fake bank guarantee of 11 crore 55 lakh in Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited. In the case, Dakshinanchal Vidyut Nigam had blacklisted the company for three years on 18 November 2022. This company (old name- SP Bright Light Private Limited) was blacklisted by UP Jal Nigam on January 7, 2017 for seven years.
The company made efforts to float tenders in several states including UP but failed. Now the company had turned to Uttarakhand. On the complaint of Rajeev Talreja, a resident of Kanpur, the government had sent a letter of action to the three corporations. It has come to the notice of the government that this company has participated in many tenders in Uttarakhand.
Therefore, UPCL, Pitkul and UJVNL have blacklisted this company. It is also being seen whether the company has taken any tender by hiding the facts. Corporations have issued alerts in this regard from their chief engineers to executive engineers.
