There was a sudden stir in Chinese smartphone company Realme. There was a sudden flood of resignations in the company. Dozens of employees of the company suddenly resigned this morning. Many senior officers including the director of the company are also included in those who resigned. It is believed that the resigning employees may soon join the new venture of the company’s former CEO Madhav Seth. Madhav Seth, the long-time CEO of the company, resigned from the company earlier this year.
Resignations created ruckus
According to information received from the company, more than a dozen people, including some senior executives of smartphone maker Realme India, have resigned. Sources aware of the matter said on Tuesday that all the people who resigned from Realme are going to join another company along with the company’s former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Madhav Seth. Seth has recently become a part of Honor Tech Company. A source said, “There has been a mass resignation of employees in Realme India, including some directors. These people have joined Madhav Seth in Honor Tech company.
The director also said goodbye
According to sources, Dipesh Punmiya, former director (sales) of Realme, is also among those who have resigned. Punmia has been appointed as the Assistant Vice President at Honor Tech. An email sent for comment did not elicit any response from Realme. RelyMe co-founder Seth had resigned in June after a five-year stint.
Madhav Seth also left the company in the same year.
Madhav Sheth, co-founder of the smartphone company Realme, resigned in June this year. He was working as the Vice President of the company and President of the International Business Group for the last five years. Madhav Seth has been instrumental in launching Realme in India. Seth was quite active on the social media platforms apart from playing the topmost role in the company. He used to discuss directly with the customers about Realme’s products. He also has a huge fan following on Twitter and other platforms.
