Tejas Network gets order worth 7,492 crores: Company will supply 4G/5G equipment to BSNL, also signed contract for support-maintenance.
Tata Group company Tejas Network has received an order worth Rs 7,492 crore for 4G / 5G equipment. This order has been given by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the IT company of Tata Group.
Tejas Networks informed that BSNL has signed a contract with TCS for supply, support and annual maintenance services of Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment for pan-India 4G/5G network. Under this, we will supply equipment to 1 lakh sites across the country, which will be completed by the calendar year 2023-24.
Company provides service in more than 75 countries
Tejas Networks manufactures wireless and wireless networking products for telecom service providers, Internet service providers, security and government organizations in more than 75 countries.
Shares of Tejas Network rose by about 5%.
The stock of Tejas Network is seeing a gain of about 5% today. At 1 pm, the stock is trading at Rs 845 with a gain of Rs 35.
The company incurred a loss of 27 crores in the June quarter.
Tejas Network has incurred a loss of Rs 27 crore in the first quarter (April-June) of the financial year 2024. The company had a loss of Rs 6.3 crore in Q1FY23, a year ago. Whereas, in the last quarter of the last financial, the company had a loss of Rs 11.5 crore.
