New Delhi. Several announcements were made during the 46th Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). During this, the company’s Reliance Industries Limited President Kiran Thomas and Reliance Jio Infocomm Chairman Akash Ambani gave information about the JioBharat 4G feature phone. This feature phone is equipped with many features like 4G and low income citizens are also able to connect digitally with it. The special thing is that this phone is also integrated with the UPI system.
JioBharat phone is integrated with UPI. In such a situation, now it has become very easy for low income citizens of rural areas to do cashless transactions. Through Jio Bharat, even small traders can easily accept UPI payments. The best thing is that through UPI, citizens will also be able to get government benefits digitally directly in their account. Not only this, citizens can easily do things like balance checking through UPI.
JioBharat price
JioBharat was launched in the market last month. This is a 4G feature phone, in which users get premium phone features. Its price has been kept at Rs 999. This phone of less than 1000 rupees has many features ranging from Live TV to FM radio. In this, users also get access to JioCinema and JioSaavn. This phone is also equipped with camera. It also works for scanning for UPI payments.
The plan is cheap
The starting plan for the JioBharat phone costs Rs 123. In this, 0.5GB data is offered daily to the customers. In this case, customers get total 14GB data in this plan. Its validity is 28 days. Along with this, benefits of 300 SMS and unlimited calls are also given.
